One of the big reasons I decided to become a real estate referral agent was that I discovered I could make more money than an active real estate agent working a whole lot less.

Referral agents do not have to look for new clients or engage with other tedious activities that are part of an agent’s daily routine, which reduces the chance of burnout or other stress-related illnesses. This means that they can earn commissions on successful engagements without needing to take calls during inconvenient times or put in the extra effort for qualifying leads. It takes effort and time for active real estate agents to stay updated on the industry trends and technology changes. Referral agents, on the other hand, do not have to go through this process. They only have to be aware of their network and engage only when they feel comfortable.

Being a referral real estate agent has its advantages, the primary one being that you don’t have to stay glued to your phone or have to be available outside of your working hours. Referral agents have their own pace and can focus on their personal life whilst still making a profit.
